Execute Whitepaper

A privacy-first ad blocker with a Solana-powered rewards, verification, and publisher-support layer. This document outlines the architecture, economics, and principles behind Execute.

01

Overview

Execute is a privacy-first ad blocker that removes invasive ads and trackers while creating a Solana-powered reward and publisher support layer. Ad blocking runs entirely in your browser; Solana is used only for the economic layer — payments, rewards, verification, and reputation.

The goal is simple: give users a fast, private web, and give the people who keep it safe — and the publishers who create it — a fair way to be supported, without surveillance advertising in the middle.

02

Problem

Traditional web advertising is broken for nearly everyone except the ad networks:

  • Users are tracked across the web, building detailed profiles without consent.
  • Ads slow down browsing, consuming bandwidth, battery, and attention.
  • Malicious ads can redirect users to scams, phishing, and malware.
  • Publishers depend on invasive advertising networks to survive.
  • Users get no value from the data they generate every day.
03

Solution

Execute addresses these problems directly:

  • Blocks ads and trackers locally, in the browser, before they load.
  • Lets users report suspicious domains and redirect chains.
  • Builds a community-powered, verified blocklist.
  • Uses Solana for rewards, subscriptions, publisher support, and verification.
  • Keeps user browsing data private and off-chain by design.
04

Ad Blocking Layer

All blocking happens in the browser. The extension matches requests and page elements against known threat lists and removes them locally — no browsing data is sent anywhere to make a decision.

  • Blocks known ad domains, trackers, popups, scam redirects, and malicious scripts.
  • Runs on-device, so blocking is instant and works offline.
  • Users can allowlist sites they want to support or unblock.
  • Users can report new threats directly from the extension.
05

Solana Layer

Solana is not used to block ads. Blocking is local. The chain only handles value and verification.

Solana is used for:

  • Wallet login and account access.
  • Premium access and subscriptions.
  • Contributor rewards for verified, useful work.
  • Publisher payments and direct support.
  • Blocklist verification and integrity anchoring.
  • Future governance over rules and parameters.
06

Rewards Model

Users should not earn rewards simply for blocking ads — that can be botted or farmed and produces no real value. Instead, rewards are tied to useful contributions that improve the network for everyone:

  • Reporting new ad and tracker domains.
  • Reporting scam redirects.
  • Helping verify malicious domains.
  • Maintaining blocklist quality and removing false positives.
  • Participating in moderation and review.

Reward parameters are designed to resist farming and will be tuned over time through governance.

Tokenomics

The token is referred to as $ExecAds as a placeholder. All numbers below are early placeholders and may change before any launch.

Token utility

  • Contributor rewards for verified work.
  • Premium access to advanced features.
  • Publisher support and direct payments.
  • Governance over blocklist rules and parameters.
  • Reviewer staking to back verification decisions.
  • Ecosystem incentives and integrations.

Publisher Support

Users may eventually be able to support websites directly through Solana instead of being tracked by ad networks.

For example: a user sets a monthly support budget. Execute can distribute that budget to approved publishers — or to the specific sites the user chooses to support — sending value directly to creators without surveillance advertising in between.

09

Privacy Principles

  • No browsing history is ever stored on-chain.
  • Execute never handles your private keys.
  • No automatic wallet transactions — you approve everything.
  • Users approve all transactions explicitly.
  • Blocking data stays local whenever possible.
  • Only submitted reports and verified blocklist data are stored.
